Recently, Qualcomm officially released 3 new mobile processors at the MWC 2018 Shanghai event namely the Snapdragon 632 (SD632), Snapdragon 439 (SD439), and Snapdragon 429 (SD429). As per the specifications, the Snapdragon 632 is aimed for the mid-range smartphone market. Snapdragon 439 and Snapdragon 429 are aimed at the low-end (entry-level) smartphone market. Snapdragon 623 Specifications

The Snapdragon 632 boasts an eight-core Kryo 250 CPU, with a maximum clock speed of 1.8 GHz. It is built on 14nm process node and integrates Adreno 506 graphics processor (GPU). It integrates Hexagon 546 DSP, X9 LTE baseband, 24MP single camera or 13MP dual camera. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 and dual. ISP, FHD+ screen, LPDDR3 memory, Dolby 5.1 sound, USB3.0, etc.

Simply put, the Snapdragon 632 is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 626. Compared to the Snapdragon 626, the performance of the Snapdragon 632 in the CPU section increased by 40%, and the GPU rendering speed on the FHD+ display increased by 10%.

The Snapdragon 429 and the Snapdragon 439 are the next-generation entry-level products, designed for emerging markets such as China, India, etc. The difference between the two specifications is not too big, they are equipped with a 1.95 GHz Cortex-A53 CPUs, using 12 nm process node, integrates X6 LTE baseband and Hexagon 536 DSP, both support Bluetooth 5.0 and QC 3.0 fast charge.

The key difference is that the Snapdragon 439 integrates the Adreno 505 GPU, while the Snapdragon 429 integrates the Adreno 504 GPU. The former integrates 8 Cortex-A53 CPUs while the latter houses mere 4 Cortex-A53 CPUs.

Snapdragon 439 supports FHD+ screens, while the latter only supports HD+ screens; the former supports up to 21MP single shots or 8MP dual shots. The latter supports 16MP single shot or 8MP double shot.
